The tempered glass means that its internal molecular structure
changes dramatically through high temperature (650 ℃, began to
soften) and quenching, and thus forming a surface with strong
uniform compressive stress in interior, and the mechanical strength
of glass is increased in several times.
solid tempered glass door is made from float glass via a thermal
tempering process. Tempered glass is often referred to as "safety
glass." Solid tempered glass is more resistant to breakage than
normal float glass.
Solid tempered glass is four to five times stronger than float
glass and does not break into sharp shards when it fails, which are
less likely to cause serious injury.

● Definition of semi-tempered glass
The machining principle of semi-tempered glass is similar with
tempered glass. The heating temperature is about 650℃ (less than
the heating temperature of tempered glass), and the cooling speed
is slow. The strength of the semi-tempered glass is lower than
tempered glass and is about twice that of ordinary glass. However,
the broken piece is large when it is broken and similar to annealed
glass, and it cannot be used as safety glass. Compared to tempered
glass, the flexibility of the semi-tempered glass is smaller, and
its thermal stability is better than that of annealed glass.

● Feature of tempered glass
1) Safety
Tempered glass is hard to break. Even broken, it will become lots
of mini pieces which will not cause hurt to people.
2) High intensity
The strength is 3-5 times of ordinary annealed glass;
3) Heat stability
Tempered glass also has excellent stability under large difference
in temperature (within 300C).
4) Customized
Sizes are produced per customer request, once tempered, cannot be
cut down.
